This is one of the cups for our blender, filled with a week old protein shake. Attached to the cup is the blade for the blender. And it won't come off! We've tried everything (and by everything I mean I turned it over to Calder figuring if he couldn't get it then I didn't have a chance).
We figure if we don't get it open soon we'll have to either buy a new blender or try to break the cup hoping we can get the blade part off. Somewhere we do have two more cups...
Anyway, I was hoping somebody could tell me how in the world to unscrew this!

I'm sure you've soaked it in really hot water? What about letting a little oil seek down arount the seal? Not that I have any real ideas for you. If you and Calder can't get it, you're right, it can't be done!
